A young boy tries to put on a red T-shirt. Red Shirt shows this everyday event in slow motion. It takes the boy four and a half minutes to get it done. Many times he is close to succeeding, but then something goes wrong. It is easy for the viewer to see what the boy should do, but, of course, cannot help him. It becomes a struggle between the boy and the shirt. The shirt looks as if it has a life and a will of its own.
